This page lists, in specific and practical terms, the categories of products and listings Eazy Phones will never carry on eazyphones.com — and the Canadian and U.S. laws behind each restriction — so every smartphone, tablet, smart watch, and audio accessory in our catalogue is exactly what it claims to be.
Why We Publish This List
Eazy Phones is a registered Canadian retailer selling new, factory-sealed smartphones, tablets, smart watches, and audio accessories from established manufacturers, shipped only within Canada and the United States. Because consumer electronics can be counterfeited, tampered with, or misused in ways that put buyers at risk, we hold every product and every listing on eazyphones.com to a fixed set of exclusions before it is ever offered for sale. This page sets those exclusions out plainly — what we will never list, why, and which law or standard sits behind each restriction — so customers, payment partners, and regulators can see exactly where our catalogue's boundaries are.
What We Actually Sell
Every product on eazyphones.com falls into one of four categories, sourced from established manufacturers and their authorized distribution channels. Understanding what we do sell makes the exclusions below easier to read in context.

We do not list, source, or knowingly sell any device, battery, charger, or accessory that copies a brand's trademark, model name, or packaging without authorization from the rights holder. This includes products described anywhere in our supply chain using terms such as replica, clone, mirror, 1:1, AAA-grade, or "inspired by," when used to imitate a genuine branded product.
Counterfeit handsets & tablets
Devices bearing a manufacturer's logo, model name, or trade dress that were not produced or authorized by that manufacturer are never listed, regardless of price or supplier claims.
Unauthorized chargers & batteries
Replacement batteries, chargers, or cables branded with a manufacturer's mark but not produced under that manufacturer's authorization are excluded, both for trademark reasons and because uncertified batteries carry a real fire and injury risk.

Devices With Tampered or Blacklisted Identifiers
Every device we sell is new, factory-sealed stock with its original, unaltered IMEI and serial number intact — never previously activated, reported lost or stolen, or carrier-blacklisted. We do not source, list, or knowingly ship any device with an altered, removed, or duplicated IMEI, or any device flagged on a GSMA blacklist database.
Altered or cloned IMEI
Devices with a modified, erased, or duplicated IMEI are excluded outright, since a tampered identifier is a strong indicator of stolen or fraudulently obtained hardware.
Blacklisted or stolen devices
We do not sell any device reported lost, stolen, or blacklisted by a carrier or the GSMA's shared device registry, in Canada, the United States, or any other jurisdiction.

Signal Jammers & Unauthorized Radio Devices
We do not list cell phone signal jammers, GPS jammers, Wi-Fi jammers, IMSI-catchers, or any device marketed to block, intercept, or spoof another device's wireless signal. Every phone, tablet, watch, and audio accessory we do sell communicates over standard licensed frequencies and is not modified to interfere with other users' service.

Devices Marketed for Covert Surveillance or Interception
We do not list phones, watches, or accessories pre-loaded with stalkerware, covert call- or message-interception software, or any product marketed on the basis of secretly monitoring another person's device without their knowledge. This applies regardless of how the product is framed — "parental monitoring," "employee tracking," or otherwise — where the marketing describes covert use against another adult without consent.

Recalled, Defective & Non-Compliant Products
We do not list a product model, or a specific batch of a product, once it has been formally recalled by its manufacturer or by a Canadian or U.S. safety regulator, and we remove any affected listing immediately upon learning of a recall notice. This also covers devices, batteries, or chargers that fail to meet the safety and radio-frequency emission standards required for lawful sale in Canada or the United States.
Recalled models or batches
Any smartphone, tablet, smart watch, or audio accessory subject to a manufacturer safety recall, or a recall issued by the CPSC (United States) or Health Canada, is pulled from sale immediately and not relisted.
Non-compliant batteries
Lithium-ion batteries and battery packs that lack UN 38.3 transport testing certification are excluded from our catalogue and never accepted from suppliers for shipment.

Weapons, Age-Restricted & Otherwise Dangerous Content
Eazy Phones sells consumer mobile technology exclusively. We do not list weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, recreational drugs or drug paraphernalia, tobacco or vaping products, or any accessory case, skin, or add-on designed to resemble a weapon. We also do not run listings that make unsupported medical or health claims about any product we sell.
These categories fall entirely outside what our storefront carries; we state them here for completeness and transparency, not because they have ever appeared in our catalogue.
Global Version Devices — What We Disclose, Not Prohibit
Many of the smartphones and tablets we sell are internationally sourced "Global Version" units, genuine and factory-sealed, but built for worldwide distribution rather than a single North American carrier. We do not treat these as prohibited — we treat full disclosure as mandatory instead. Every applicable listing states plainly that the device is a Global Version unit, that it may differ from carrier-specific North American retail packaging, and that band or feature compatibility with a specific Canadian or U.S. carrier is the buyer's responsibility to verify before purchase. We do not claim or imply that a device carries a specific carrier's certification, warranty, or network authorization unless that is genuinely the case.
Why we call this out separately
A genuine, unlocked device is not the same thing as a counterfeit or an unsafe one — but selling it without disclosure would be misleading. That is why Global Version status appears on the product page itself rather than being left for a customer to discover after delivery.
How We Keep This List Enforced, Not Just Published
Vetted sourcing
We source only from manufacturers and their authorized distribution partners, and decline any supplier or batch that cannot demonstrate a clean chain of custody.
Pre-listing review
Every new product listing is checked against this list before it goes live on eazyphones.com, not audited only after a complaint is received.
Ongoing monitoring
We track manufacturer recall notices, CPSC and Health Canada alerts, and GSMA blacklist updates, and pull any affected listing without waiting for a customer report.

If you believe a product on eazyphones.com violates this list — including a device you suspect is counterfeit, blacklisted, or affected by a recall — contact our Ontario support desk with the product link and your reason for concern. We investigate every report the same day it is received during business hours and remove any listing that cannot be verified as compliant.
