Price Match Policy | Eazy Phones

Same device.
Same condition.
The lower price — matched.

If an authorized retailer sells the exact same new, sealed smartphone, smart watch, headphone, earphone, or tablet for less — total cost for total cost — we'll match it. This page explains exactly how, and what does and doesn't qualify.

Our Price Match Commitment

We'd Rather Earn Your Order Than Win It on Confusion

Eazy Phones sells new, factory-sealed smartphones, smart watches, headphones & earphones, and tablets to customers in Canada and the United States, with all import duties and applicable sales tax already built into the checkout price. Because that all-in price can look higher at first glance than a competitor's sticker price, this Price Match Policy explains how we compare offers fairly — total cost to total cost — and what we'll do if a genuine, apples-to-apples match turns up cheaper somewhere else. This policy applies to every product category we sell and to every order shipped within Canada or the United States, which are the only two countries we currently serve.

7 Days
Window to request a match — before your order, or within 7 calendar days after delivery
1 Business Day
Typical time for our Ontario team to verify a competitor listing
Total-Cost Basis
We compare full landed cost — price, shipping, duties, and tax — not just the sticker number

Why Two "Prices" Aren't Always the Same Price

How We Compare Offers Fairly

Every eazyphones.com checkout runs on a Delivered Duty Paid basis: the total shown at checkout already includes shipping, import duties, brokerage charges, and applicable Canadian sales tax where relevant, so there's nothing added later. A competitor's advertised sticker price may not work the same way — it can exclude shipping, duties, or tax that only appear once you reach their checkout. To keep a price match meaningful, we calculate the competitor's true, final total before we compare it to ours. A match is only approved when their real total — not their advertised number — is genuinely lower for the identical product.

What we add to their sticker price

Any shipping fee, customs duty, brokerage charge, or sales tax the competitor's own checkout would charge for delivery to your address in Canada or the United States.

What we compare it against

Our full checkout total for the identical model, storage, color, and region version — the exact number you would pay us, with nothing added afterward.

Eligibility

What Qualifies — and What Doesn't

A price match request is evaluated against every condition below. Meeting most of them isn't enough — every eligible condition must be true, and none of the exclusions can apply, for us to approve a match.

Eligible for a match

  • Identical brand, model, storage/RAM capacity, color, and region version (a Global Version and a CN Version of the same phone are not the same product).
  • The competitor is an authorized retailer selling the item new, factory-sealed, and unused, with its own storefront and checkout — not an individual seller.
  • The competitor's listing is live, publicly viewable at a direct URL, and shows the item currently in stock.
  • The competitor ships to the same country as your order — Canada or the United States — at a price shown in CAD or USD.
  • The request is submitted before you place your order, or within 7 calendar days of your Eazy Phones delivery date.

Not eligible for a match

  • Marketplace or classifieds listings where any individual can sell — including Amazon Marketplace third-party sellers, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, and Craigslist.
  • Refurbished, used, open-box, display-model, or grey-market/cloned devices, or any unit sold without full manufacturer or seller warranty.
  • Membership-only, wholesale, or bulk/reseller pricing, such as warehouse-club or verified business-account pricing.
  • Flash sales, doorbusters, clearance or liquidation pricing, and one-time promo codes that aren't the retailer's standard, ongoing price.
  • Bundle deals, trade-in credits, carrier subsidies, financing offers, or mail-in rebates that lower the effective price.
  • Listings that are out of stock, on backorder, or pre-order, or that show an obvious pricing or spec error.
How It Works

Requesting a Price Match Takes Four Steps

No account or order number is required to ask before you buy. If you've already purchased, have your order number ready.

1

Send us the details

Email support@eazyphones.com or call us with the exact product name/model as listed on our site, the competitor's product URL, and a screenshot or link showing today's price.

2

We verify the listing

Our Ontario-based support team checks the competitor's page against every eligibility condition above, including their real shipping and tax total — usually within 1 business day.

3

We confirm the outcome

Before purchase: we email a discount code covering the price difference, valid for 48 hours. After purchase: we refund the difference to your original payment method within 5 business days of approval.

4

You get a clear answer

Approved or not, we explain our decision in writing, referencing the specific condition that was or wasn't met — no vague replies.

Price Accuracy on Our Own Site

The Price You See Is the Price We Mean

The price shown on each product page is the same price carried through to your cart and checkout, with all mandatory charges — duties, brokerage, and applicable Canadian sales tax — already included under our Delivered Duty Paid model. We don't add mandatory fees at checkout that weren't visible on the product page, and any discount we advertise reflects a genuine reduction from our own standard, previously charged price rather than an inflated "before" figure.

If a listing is priced incorrectly because of a technical error, data feed issue, or human mistake, we'll contact any affected customer before the order ships to offer the corrected price, a full refund, or a free cancellation — whichever they prefer. We are not obligated to fulfil an order at a price that was clearly the result of such an error, consistent with the consumer-protection standards set out below.

General Conditions

A Few Ground Rules

One match per item

Limited to one approved price match per item, per order, per household, to keep the program sustainable and fair to every customer.

Not stackable

A price match cannot be combined with other discount codes or promotions unless the matched amount is itself the only discount applied.

Canada & U.S. orders only

This policy applies exclusively to orders shipped within Canada or the United States, the only two countries we currently sell to.

Reasonable quantity limits

Requests involving unusually large quantities may be treated as reseller activity and are reviewed individually to prevent abuse of the program.

We may decline a request where the competitor's listing cannot be reasonably verified — for example, if it disappears before we can review it — and we will always tell you why. This policy may be updated from time to time; the version in effect on the date of your order is the version that applies to that order.

Legal & Regulatory Basis

The Rules This Policy Is Built Around

We ship only within Canada and the United States, so this policy is written to align with the price-representation and consumer-protection standards that apply in both countries.

Competition Act (Canada) — deceptive price representations Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 Provincial Consumer Protection statutes (CA) FTC Act, Section 5 — unfair or deceptive practices (US) FTC Guides Against Deceptive Pricing, 16 CFR 233 State comparative-pricing statutes (US) PIPEDA — data used only to verify your request

Where a provincial or state rule grants stronger comparative-pricing or consumer rights than this policy describes, the stronger local rule applies. Information you submit with a price match request — your name, order number, and the competitor listing you send us — is used only to verify and process that request, and is handled under our Privacy Policy.

This summary is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. For the binding terms that govern your order, refer to the linked policies.

How This Fits With Shipping & Returns

A price match is separate from your right to return an item. Every device is still covered by our 30-day return window and applicable warranty regardless of whether a price match was requested or approved, and our DDP shipping terms apply equally to matched and non-matched orders.
