Every device is genuine.
Every seal is real.
Every claim, verifiable.
This policy explains exactly where our smartphones, smart watches, headphones, earphones, and tablets come from, how we check them before they ship, what "Global Version" and "CN Version" actually mean, and how to verify what you received — for every order delivered to Canada or the United States.
What "Genuine" Means When You Buy From Us
Every smartphone, smart watch, headphone, earphone, and tablet sold on eazyphones.com is a brand-new, unused, factory-sealed unit manufactured by the original brand — Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO, Samsung, Sony, OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo, Asus, ZTE/Nubia, Nothing, Google, Honor, Motorola, Huawei, or the specific manufacturer named on the product page. We do not sell refurbished, used, second-hand, or grey-market cloned devices, and we do not sell counterfeit or replica products of any kind. Brand names, logos, and trademarks shown on our site identify the genuine manufacturer of the product being sold and remain the property of their respective owners; we are an independent retailer and are not the manufacturer, and we are not an authorized service center for any of these brands unless separately stated.
Where Our Stock Comes From
We purchase inventory in bulk directly from established distributors and wholesale suppliers of new, factory-sealed consumer electronics in the manufacturer's country or region of production. This is standard practice in the mobile device import trade and is sometimes called parallel importing: a genuine product, made by the genuine manufacturer, sold through a distribution channel outside that brand's official North American retail or carrier network. A parallel-imported device is not a counterfeit — the difference is the sales channel, not the authenticity of the product itself, and we explain this distinction clearly wherever it applies.
Sealed at origin
Units arrive to us in the manufacturer's original retail packaging, factory-sealed, and are not opened, repackaged, or altered by Eazy Phones before dispatch.
No aftermarket components
We do not sell devices that have been disassembled, repaired with aftermarket parts, or reassembled from separate units before sale.
What "Global Version" and "CN Version" Mean
Many smartphone listings on our site state whether a unit is a "Global Version" or a "CN Version," directly in the product title and description — not hidden in fine print. These terms describe the firmware and regional configuration of a genuine device, and each carries specific, practical differences you should know before you order.
Global Version
Ships with multi-region firmware, Google Mobile Services (Google Play Store and Google apps) pre-installed, and multi-language support out of the box. This is the configuration we recommend for most Canadian and U.S. buyers and is functionally closest to a North American retail unit.
CN Version
The mainland China retail configuration, which does not ship with Google Mobile Services installed by default and, on some models, may not support them at all. Where our team can attempt to install the Google Play Store on your behalf as a courtesy at your request, we do not guarantee that Google Play, individual Google apps, or any specific app will install or function correctly on a CN Version unit. If Google app compatibility matters to you, we recommend choosing a Global Version model instead.
What Happens Before Your Order Ships
Every unit passes through the same checks at our Ontario facility before it goes to the carrier.
Packaging inspection
We confirm the factory seal, box condition, and included accessories match the manufacturer's original retail configuration before the unit is approved for sale.
IMEI & serial verification
Each phone and tablet's IMEI or serial number is logged and checked against duplicate or blacklist records before dispatch.
Order matching
The model, storage capacity, color, and regional version on the box are verified against your order before packing, to prevent mis-ships.
Secure dispatch
Units are packed for transit and handed to DHL Express or FedEx with a tracking number emailed to you within 0–2 business days.
How You Can Confirm What You Received
We encourage every customer to check their device against the order confirmation as soon as it arrives.
Check the IMEI
Dial *#06# on a phone or tablet with cellular capability, or check Settings > About Device, and compare the IMEI shown against the label on the outer box.
Confirm the model & version
Compare the model number and Global/CN version stated on the box and in Settings against what you ordered on your confirmation email.
Inspect the seal
Genuine factory packaging includes an intact manufacturer seal. If a seal appears broken, tampered with, or missing on arrival, contact us before activating the device.
What We Do If a Product Doesn't Match Its Listing
If your device arrives with a broken seal, a mismatched IMEI, the wrong model or version, or any sign it is not a genuine, new unit as described on the product page, contact us immediately at support@eazyphones.com or +1 416 817 4612 with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We treat this as a priority case: we investigate promptly, cover return shipping in full, and provide a full refund or a verified replacement at your choice, at no cost to you, regardless of how much time has passed since delivery. This commitment applies specifically to authenticity and mismatch concerns and does not replace or limit the separate rights described in our Returns & Refund Policy and Warranty & Coverage Policy.
The Consumer-Protection Rules Behind This Policy
Because we ship only within Canada and the United States, this policy is written to meet the truthful-advertising and product-description standards that apply in both.
Competition Act (Canada)
Prohibits false or misleading representations about a product's origin, condition, or performance — the standard our Global Version and CN Version disclosures are written to meet.
Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002
Requires accurate disclosure of material product information to Ontario-based consumers before a sale is completed, forming the baseline this policy follows nationwide.
Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Act
Prohibits unfair or deceptive acts or practices in commerce in the United States, including deceptive claims about a product's authenticity, condition, or country-specific compatibility.
State Consumer Protection & UCC Statutes (U.S.)
U.S. orders are additionally subject to the buyer's state consumer-protection statutes and that state's enactment of the Uniform Commercial Code, including implied warranties this policy does not limit.
Trademark & Nominative Fair Use
We reference brand names and model numbers solely to identify the genuine products we sell. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or an authorized dealer of any manufacturer unless separately and explicitly stated on a specific page.
Canada Border Services Agency & U.S. Customs Compliance
All imported inventory clears customs under standard import declarations, and duties and brokerage fees are pre-paid by Eazy Phones on a Delivered Duty Paid basis, as described in our Shipping Policy.
